This Viking/Anglo-Saxon seax knife blade is crafted with a traditional multi-bar forge-welded blade, combining a historic wrought iron spine, two very high layer twisted central bars that flow across the blade and high-carbon steel cutting edge. This process creates a unique pattern in the blade, giving each piece its own distinct character.
The blade has been hardened, tempered and sharpened.
